There is also a petition to help stop the killing of sharks it is a normal site for anyone making petitions for online. Whale Shark and other Sharks turned into soup

In Taiwan it is very popular to make soup from shark fins. Thousands of sharks die for the sake of soup. Let me tell you something, yes some species of shark have killed or injured people every day in the ocean but they are needed. Called the wolves of the sea they do just that. They help keep other fish and creatures from over eating other food sources. There is a creature that eats carbon in the oceans, this gets eaten by other creatures and so on. The sharks eat these creatures to keep the balance. Less sharks have been shown to have a lot of the ocean to have a high acid level. People if this keeps up there will be so much acid the ocean will die nothing can live in it that includes whales and dolphins. There is also a creature I did not even know about till I saw it on the Go Diego Go Animal Rescue, called a Whale Shark. Yes it is a shark about the size of a whale little is known about these creatures because they are rarely seen near shores and live in different groups. All that is known is that they eat little things like plankton and very small creatures. Basically they have been known to be gentle as a whale. Now what purpose would we need to kill this creature when it does not kill or harm people? The answer is soup and the other parts. I heard that one Whale Shark female was caught for that purpose in Taiwan and they found that the Whale Shark gives birth to live young there were over 300 pups inside it. How does that make you feel that a pregnant whale shark was killed just to eat its fins and killed that many babies. It makes me think on how the giant gentle gorilla that looks fierce that really is gentle where all of the group are killed just so they can get hands and heads for selling sometimes to get the babies or kill the babies. Now how does that make you feel? Disgusted? It sure made me want to loose my lunch. One good news is that the Philippines have put the whale sharks up for protection in their waters.

Australia vs Japan

One thing is that Japan is fishing in their waters for their "research" also not only they are poaching the Whales but the blue tuna there also as so called "experimental fishing" The Australia government is taking legal action along with New Zealand to fight them. Here is a great opportunity to get on the fact they "research whaling" also. This is dwindling the population of all of these creatures in the sea. I think all the countries should do this refuse all Japanese products till they stop the whaling they might not like loosing the money. Even the Manga artists will want to know and find out then speak out against the government it won't happen but it would be nice. There have been some animes in Japan that have spoken against about how the Japanese abuse the environment and how a great power might kick them good for not changing their ways. I think since I know the first idea will not work is that the world should get in contact with influential people in Japan with the youth explain and show them what is going on I know a lot of them are already like the Japan goth music scene who are fighting how things are there along with others to show at concerts and any other way they can to show and fight against their own government.

The slaughter of Whales for "research"

I heard of the show "Whale Wars" for a while but since I did not have cable and only Internet I never really watched it then a few days ago I decided to look at it surprise on me I had no idea that Japan was eating whale. Personally they think its a fish, this is not true the whales and dolphins all mammals like them in the sea move the tales up and down compared to like fish and sharks they move side to side. The fish usually lay eggs though at times this is like some snake species they give birth to live young instead. Now the thing is that Japan is "researching" in a Whale Sanctuary emphasis on that area. I am sorry but that is stupid people, but I am not fooled by this so called research. We can do plenty of research without killing them now a days yet the very technological in Japan, who by the way has some crazy futuristic toilet, cannot somehow make a way to research without killing them more advanced then American?

To say the least this angered me I both love and hate Japan. Some of the traditions are cool like the respect to spirits and the Anime and Manga they produce. There are many things like this slaughter and the too pridefulness the Japanese have, they cannot admit they were wrong to easily. They do not like to move from a traditionthat is very profitable that might destroy the earth and themselves they cannot not see the forest for the trees it is said. The worse problem is that they also have a killing cove to kill dolphins. They serve this to their children in school like it was tuna. The worse problem of that is that consuming of the meat of whales and dolphin have been shown to have a high toxic level within the meat. This can lead to problems in the future.

The Whaling is ridiculous I support the Sea Shepard 100%, I do not make a lot of money so this is my way of supporting it. I am hoping Japanese people who do not realize what their government is doing espeically the young see this and will help fight against this. I have knowledge that even tuna has high toxic in Mercury within it. I have switched to salmon and fish like ones I and my family catch in the streams ourselves only all of the over fishing of the seas have to stop.
